The Authority has completed an advanced Maritime Training for ORCA AI employees, a start-up that develops solutions for safety of sailing and advanced navigation, and is already installed in hundreds of ships.

“Serving maritime means really knowing the people, the work, and the environment they operate in. That’s why a few of us signed up for the pilot of our Naval Academy training program, two days of learning, hands-on exercises, and time in the bridge simulator.
We got a feel for bridge team workflow, navigated with marine charts, calculated CPA/TCPA, a two-day experience combining theory, hands-on exercises, and bridge simulator practice.
